Amoureux de l’Angleterre et aussi de certains de ses auteurs, nous sommes allés quelques jours à Leeds en l’honneur du quatuor du Yorkshire de David Peace (1974,1977, 1980, 1983) avec mon complice photographe Samuel Boche. Nous n’avons jamais pu concrétiser ce projet, quel dommage, mais les images et l’ambiance extraordinaire de cette ville du nord de l’Angleterre reste dans mon coeur.
Leeds but not least
In love with England and some of its authors, we went to Leeds for a few days in honor of David Peace’s Yorkshire Quartet (1974, 1977, 1980, 1983) with my photographer partner Samuel Boche. What a pity, we never got around to it, but the images and the extraordinary atmosphere of this city in the north of England remain in my heart.
