THE TERRITORY
Made up of about fifty color photographs ranging from a small to a large format, the photographs in The Territory series deal with an area situated around the Vassivière Lake in the Haute-Vienne and Creuse departments in the Limousin region of France. Stopping to reflect on recent transformations of the landscape, these photographs bear witness to our difficulty in naming these spaces where urban and rural intermingle, a subject which requires us to ask ourselves if it is still pertinent to talk about “nature” or “the countryside”.
